Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical distribution systems for large-scale industrial projects.
- Perform comprehensive power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analysis using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to ensure project milestones are met with precision.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project specifications and regulatory compliance standards.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning phases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design reviews and problem-solving.
- Drive continuous improvement in system efficiency and sustainable design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of California or eligibility to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in power systems design and electrical engineering.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, and advanced power system simulation software.
- Deep understanding of NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards as they apply to medium and high-voltage systems.
- Proven ability to manage technical project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to lead technical presentations and client consultations.
