Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex electrical power systems for industrial-scale applications.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of PCB layouts and control circuits.
- Perform comprehensive reliability testing and root cause analysis for prototype failures.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware components with sophisticated software stacks.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and UL safety standards across all design phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in schematic capture and simulation.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality, long-lead electrical components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics or circuit design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or LTspice.
- Strong background in FPGA/microcontroller integration and analog-to-digital design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable but not strictly required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
