Responsibilities
- Design and simulate complex high-voltage power distribution systems for utility-scale applications.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, PCB layout verification, and thermal management studies.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and international safety standards.
- Develop robust validation test plans to verify hardware performance under extreme environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with firmware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of smart-grid control algorithms.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design-for-manufacturability (DFM).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in power electronics or industrial electrical design.
- Expertise in industry-standard software tools such as Altium Designer, MATLAB, Simulink, or SPICE.
- Solid understanding of power conversion topologies, magnetics design, and control theory.
- Proven track record of taking complex electrical systems from prototype to mass production.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex system failures in real-time.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
