Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems and control circuits.
- Conduct detailed electrical load calculations and feasibility studies to support project milestones.
- Develop and test electrical schematics and circuit board layouts using industry-standard CAD software.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, IEEE) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and engineering interns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical system design, preferably in power generation or industrial automation.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Electrical, or PSpice.
- Deep understanding of power systems analysis, grounding, and protection schemes.
- Experience with circuit design tools such as Altium Designer or OrCAD.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PE license is a strong plus.
