Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical power systems, including grid-tied and off-grid configurations.
- Perform detailed load analysis, short-circuit studies, and arc-flash assessments using ETAP or SKM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics and control hardware.
- Oversee electrical prototyping, testing, and regulatory certification (UL/IEC standards).
- Develop technical specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and detailed schematic documentation.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct peer reviews for design integrity.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure hardware compliance with project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Deep proficiency with CAD software (Altium, AutoCAD Electrical, or EPLAN).
- Extensive knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
- Experience with high-voltage testing protocols and safety standards.
- Proven track record of taking complex electrical products from concept to production.
