Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-voltage power systems and circuit schematics using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer and MATLAB.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping to mass production, ensuring adherence to IEEE and IEC safety standards.
- Conduct thorough signal integrity analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software) to integrate electrical components seamlessly.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM) and schematics for regulatory approval.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical failures, providing rapid engineering solutions to production issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) with a focus on Power Systems or Controls.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the tech, automotive, or renewable energy sectors.
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence OrCAD, PSpice).
- Deep understanding of power electronics, DC-DC converters, and embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, including UL, IEC, and FCC regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
