Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems for high-performance hardware.
  • Perform comprehensive PCB schematic capture, layout oversight, and simulation using Altium Designer or similar tools.
  • Conduct rigorous thermal, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis to ensure product reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical and Firmware engineers, to integrate power solutions seamlessly.
  • Define and execute validation test plans, including hardware-in-the-loop and environmental stress testing.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to maintain architectural standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and participate in component selection to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics or board-level design.
  • Expertise in DC-DC converter design, power management ICs (PMICs), and battery management systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with EDA software (Altium, OrCAD, or Cadence Virtuoso).
  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, including HDI and rigid-flex technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as UL, CE, and FCC.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from prototype through to mass production.
