Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of power distribution systems for large-scale energy projects.
- Perform detailed load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analysis using ETAP or SKM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet NEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards.
- Review and approve electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and procurement specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex electrical challenges.
- Lead on-site inspections and commissioning activities to ensure system integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement in design workflows and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or industry-standard modeling software.
- Deep understanding of NEC and electrical safety standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on high-voltage system reliability.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project timelines and stakeholder expectations.
