Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution systems and control circuits.
- Perform detailed load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless hardware integration.
- Lead root-cause analysis for electrical system failures and implement preventative engineering solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and perform rigorous technical reviews of design documentation.
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through to final field commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards across all project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in industrial power systems or electrical infrastructure.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Deep expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP power system modeling software.
- Proven track record in managing high-stakes electrical design projects.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on system safety and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to executive stakeholders.
