As a Senior Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our technical strategy, driving the design of next-generation electrical infrastructure while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design of electrical power distribution systems, including low and high voltage solutions, utilizing AutoCAD and electrical simulation software.
- Project Leadership: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to local, state, and federal codes such as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and IEC standards.
- Analysis & Testing: Conduct thorough load calculations, fault analysis, and feasibility studies to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and technicians, providing technical training and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Innovation: Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical power systems design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit), PSpice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of NEC, IEC, and NFPA standards.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Professional Certifications: P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is a significant plus.
