Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution systems for large-scale industrial facilities.
- Conduct detailed electrical load analysis, short circuit calculations, and arc flash studies using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to ensure project milestones are met within strict budget and timeline constraints.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards across all design phases.
- Perform root-cause analysis on power system failures and implement long-term preventative maintenance solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; PE license preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in industrial power system design and electrical infrastructure.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, and power system analysis software (ETAP/SKM).
- Deep understanding of NEC codes, grounding requirements, and medium-voltage distribution systems.
- Proven ability to manage technical project life cycles from conceptual design to site commissioning.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical hardware challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
