Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of complex electrical power systems and components.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulations, and validation for power conversion and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical system issues.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and performance requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, focusing on power electronics or power systems.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, PSpice, or similar.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC power conversion, motor control, and battery management systems.
- Experience with high-voltage design, safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC), and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to production.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality.
