Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-voltage power distribution systems and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer and Cadence.
- Lead the creation of schematics, bill of materials (BOM), and electrical requirements documentation.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate embedded systems and ensure hardware-software compatibility.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards (UL, IEC, NEC).
- troubleshoot complex electrical issues in prototypes and production environments to optimize performance and reliability.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) required.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in power systems or embedded hardware.
- Proficiency in EDA tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, or PSpice).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, UL, FCC).
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR) and sensor integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
