Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of electrical power systems, including high-voltage transmission and distribution.
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies, load calculations, and circuit analysis to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader mechanical and architectural projects.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD and BIM tools.
- Ensure all engineering designs strictly comply with local, state, and national safety codes and regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present complex technical concepts to stakeholders and clients with clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related technical field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in power systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PSS/E, or similar electrical simulation software.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and technical reporting.
