Apex Dynamics Inc. is seeking a visionary Senior Electrical Engineer to join our elite R&D team in San Francisco. We are pioneers in sustainable energy solutions and advanced embedded systems, and we need a technical leader to drive our next generation of hardware innovations.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level system architecture and low-level circuit implementation, ensuring our products are robust, efficient, and market-ready.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design complex electrical systems, circuit schematics, and PCB layouts for next-gen industrial and consumer electronics.
- Prototyping & Validation: Lead the end-to-end prototyping process, including component selection, breadboarding, and rigorous testing of electrical performance.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs meet strict industry standards for EMC/EMI, safety regulations, and thermal management.
- Firmware Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to interface hardware with embedded firmware, troubleshooting communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, risk assessments, and resource allocation for cross-functional engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in hardware design and embedded systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or Eagle.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and microcontroller interfacing.
- Tools: Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and soldering equipment for prototype debugging.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
