Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end electrical design lifecycle, from concept and schematic capture to PCB layout and prototyping.
- Develop and optimize embedded firmware and hardware interfaces for IoT devices.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and reliability analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards (UL, IEC).
- Collaborate closely with firmware engineers, mechanical designers, and product managers to integrate hardware seamlessly into the overall system.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during design reviews and debugging sessions.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and technical risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design and embedded systems development.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB design (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD).
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, PIC).
- Deep understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN) and signal integrity.
- Experience with power electronics, analog circuit design, and FPGA development is a plus.
