Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex PCBs, including schematic capture and layout.
- Perform signal integrity analysis, thermal analysis, and EMC/EMI compliance testing.
- Develop and validate power management circuits and embedded system prototypes.
- Collaborate closely with firmware engineers to optimize hardware-software integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure design excellence.
- Document all designs, specifications, and test results in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably in the tech or semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics.
- Strong working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and microcontrollers.
- Experience with mixed-signal design and signal integrity analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 62304 and other relevant medical or industrial standards is a plus.
