Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the design, simulation, and prototyping of high-performance electrical systems and PCB layouts.
- Circuit Analysis: Develop and verify analog and digital circuit designs using industry-standard EDA tools to ensure signal integrity and thermal performance.
- Testing & Validation: Define and execute rigorous testing protocols, including stress testing and reliability analysis, to validate product performance against specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with firmware engineers, mechanical designers, and product managers to integrate hardware seamlessly into the overall product ecosystem.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, FCC regulations, and safety requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical hardware design, embedded systems, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics PADS.
- Programming: Strong understanding of C/C++ and assembly language for embedded systems.
- Knowledge: Deep knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, power management circuits, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, UART).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex circuit issues and optimize designs for cost and manufacturability.
