We are currently seeking a visionary Senior Electrical Engineer to join our elite R&D team in San Francisco. In this pivotal role, you will architect the next generation of power management systems and embedded controllers that power our global ecosystem.

As a key technical leader, you will bridge the gap between theoretical design and high-volume manufacturing, ensuring our hardware not only meets rigorous standards but also sets new benchmarks in efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Circuit Architecture: Spearhead the conceptualization and detailed design of complex analog and digital circuits for high-performance embedded systems.
  • PCB Design & Layout: Utilize industry-standard EDA tools (Altium/Cadence) to design, simulate, and review multi-layer PCB schematics and layouts.
  • System Validation: Develop comprehensive test plans and validation strategies to ensure product compliance with safety standards (UL, CE) and performance metrics.
  • Prototyping & Debugging: Oversee the prototype fabrication process and lead the debugging of hardware issues in the lab and field environments.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the engineering department.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including datasheets, schematics, BOMs, and design for manufacturing (DFM) reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, specifically within the embedded systems or consumer electronics sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in circuit analysis, power electronics, and microcontroller interfacing (ARM, PIC, or AVR).
  • Tools: Proficient in using SPICE simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice) and PCB design software (Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle).
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and presentations for cross-functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting hardware failures and delivering solutions under tight deadlines.
