The Role:
You will lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with all industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of power distribution systems and control circuits.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer to create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
- Conduct thorough load analysis and power quality assessments to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Ensure all designs strictly adhere to UL, IEEE, and NFPA safety regulations.
- Oversee the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototype hardware.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in power systems or electronics design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or EPLAN.
- Deep knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical data clearly.
