Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of complex electrical circuits and power systems from concept to production.
- Develop and optimize printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using industry-standard CAD tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Cadence).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams including firmware and mechanical engineers.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of prototypes to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC, CE).
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and oversee vendor selection for electronic components.
- Conduct root cause analysis for hardware failures and implement scalable engineering solutions.
- Document all design specifications, test results, and technical reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with signal integrity analysis and EMC/EMI compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
