Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Conduct detailed circuit analysis and simulations using industry-standard software tools.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, IEEE) and safety regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to optimize system performance.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure team excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design or power systems engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, motor controls, and PLCs.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
