Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of complex transportation, water resource, and structural systems
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams from conceptualization through construction completion
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, OSHA standards, and federal regulations
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in sustainable infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Expertise in NYC DOT and DEP permitting processes
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ capital improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and resilient design principles
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent technical writing and public presentation skills
