Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-voltage electrical systems and components using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD).
- Conduct detailed electrical load calculations and power system analysis to ensure stability and reliability.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations (NEC, IEEE, OSHA).
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, schematics, and reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions in real-world scenarios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, circuit design, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
