Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical systems for IoT and consumer electronics products
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer and perform signal integrity analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in hardware integration and prototyping phases
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for electrical design workflows
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and embedded systems
- Ensure compliance with UL, CE, and FCC regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in hardware design for consumer electronics
- Expertise in high-speed digital circuits and power distribution networks
- Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and thermal management
- Experience leading product development from concept to mass production
- Certification in IPC-2221 PCB design standards (IPC CID+)
- Proven track record of reducing BOM costs by 15%+
