Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems for IoT devices and smart grid infrastructure
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and validation using Altium Designer and Cadence
- Conduct signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design best practices
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded system integration
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through component optimization and design-for-manufacturing
- Stay current with IEEE standards and industry regulations (UL, IEC, FCC)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and embedded systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong background in thermal management and high-speed PCB design
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar inverters, battery management)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
