Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence.
- Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure product reliability and compliance with safety standards (UL, IEC).
- Lead the troubleshooting and debugging of prototypes during the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and firmware teams to integrate electrical systems into final products.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, test reports, and design specifications.
- Conduct vendor assessments and manage the manufacturing transition for new designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the industrial or consumer electronics sectors.
- Strong proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or LTspice.
- Deep understanding of analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with IPC standards, IEEE, and NEC regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
