Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design from concept to production, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation testing
- Develop power electronics solutions for solar inverters and battery management systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis per IEC/UL standards
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design best practices
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate embedded control systems
- Document engineering deliverables including design specifications, test reports, and risk assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power electronics experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer, PADS, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics and thermal management
- Proven track record of bringing products through UL/CE certification
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl) for automation and data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex system-level challenges
