Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for robotic arms and automated assembly lines, from concept through to production.
  • Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
  • Perform complex stress analysis, thermal management, and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure product durability and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
  • Prototype and test new designs in the lab, iterating rapidly based on feedback and performance data.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (ANSI, ISO) and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review design specifications for accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
