Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts for high-performance embedded devices.
- Lead the full hardware lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to mass production and testing.
- Collaborate closely with firmware engineers and mechanical designers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and power distribution units.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices for design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost-effective solutions for technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in hardware design and embedded systems development.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, Eagle).
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and signal processing.
- Experience with power management systems, AC/DC, and DC/DC converters.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-610, IEC, and UL safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
