Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing embedded control systems for renewable energy integration
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer
- Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations for complex electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and implement best practices in design documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or energy systems design
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer)
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and NEC regulations
- Demonstrated experience with renewable energy integration projects
