Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, control logic, and circuit schematics.
- Analysis: Perform detailed load calculations, thermal analysis, and reliability studies to ensure system integrity.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant national and international electrical codes (NEC, IEC, IEEE) and safety standards.
- Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within the industrial or energy sector.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN), SPICE simulation tools, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), circuit analysis, and embedded systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
