Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution and control systems.
- Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard CAD software (Altium, OrCAD).
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and debugging of hardware prototypes to meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
- Perform root-cause analysis on electrical system failures and implement robust design improvements.
- Stay abreast of regulatory compliance requirements (UL, NEC, IEC) and integrate them into product design cycles.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in hardware design or power systems engineering.
- Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, digital logic, and analog circuit design.
- Demonstrated experience with high-voltage and low-voltage power conversion systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable but not mandatory.
