Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead PCB development and validation for IoT-enabled smart meters
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Develop firmware interfaces for real-time grid monitoring systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into engineering specifications
- Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with power electronics design (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Familiarity with Python for automation and data analysis
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification preferred
