Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for solar/wind farms
- Lead PCB layout and validation for IoT-enabled smart grid components
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time energy monitoring systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical workshops
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Document engineering specifications and create technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for power system modeling
- Proven track record in high-voltage DC (HVDC) system implementation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
