Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage PCB assemblies for industrial automation systems
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time power monitoring and control systems
- Optimize energy efficiency in smart grid integration projects
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Interface with vendors to source specialized components and negotiate contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for schematic capture
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for power system modeling and simulation
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E safety standards
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar/wind integration)
- Proven track record in bringing products from prototype to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
