Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar/wind energy conversion projects
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer and AutoCAD
- Conduct power analysis, thermal modeling, and failure mode assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Lead prototype testing and validation in ISO-certified laboratories
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system designs
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and IEC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for circuit simulation
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, inverters, and MPPT algorithms
- Experience with high-voltage (>1kV) component integration
- Certification in PE or EIT (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated project leadership in agile environments
- Published technical papers or patents a plus
