Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage electrical systems for solar/wind farms
- Lead power electronics development for grid-tied inverters and battery storage
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance validation
- Create detailed schematics using AutoCAD Electrical and MATLAB/Simulink
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of project deliverables
- Interface with clients to define technical specifications and project requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in NEC/NFPA 70E compliance and safety standards
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Siemens/Rockwell)
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
