Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the design and development of high-voltage electrical systems, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety standards are met.
- Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end electrical engineering projects from conception through to commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal codes, including NEC and IEEE standards.
- Analysis: Perform complex load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash hazard analyses using industry-standard software.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Testing: Oversee testing protocols and validate system performance before deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is strongly preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or equivalent simulation tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex engineering issues.
