Responsibilities

  • Design and validate PCB layouts for high-reliability aerospace power systems using Altium Designer
  • Lead electrical architecture development for 28V DC and 115V AC power distribution networks
  • Conduct EMI/EMC compliance testing and mitigation strategies for FAA certification
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for safety-critical components
  • Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions for power electronics
  • Develop test procedures and troubleshoot complex electrical system failures
  • Interface with suppliers to source custom components and manage vendor relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
  • Expertise in power electronics design (buck/boost converters, motor drives)
  • Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
