Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Lead PCB layout and validation for IoT sensor networks
- Perform power distribution analysis and load calculations for smart grid implementations
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and UL safety standards
- Develop test protocols and conduct failure mode analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable systems design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and Altium Designer
- Strong knowledge of three-phase systems, motor controls, and energy storage
- Proven experience with HVDC and microgrid architecture
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience leading technical teams and project budgets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting approach
