Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design for utility-scale solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Perform power electronics simulations using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics for high-voltage DC/DC converters
- Conduct EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded control systems
- Support field testing and commissioning of prototype systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with three-phase inverters and battery management systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven project leadership in Agile development environments
