Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications, including power distribution, avionics, and control systems
- Perform circuit simulations, PCB layout, and signal integrity analysis using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to meet reliability and safety requirements
- Lead technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and stay current with emerging technologies in electrical engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, embedded systems, and FPGA programming
- Familiarity with DO-160, RTCA DO-178, and other aerospace standards
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to implementation
