Responsibilities
- Design and optimize power distribution systems for utility-scale projects
- Lead hardware validation of inverters and energy storage systems
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer for high-reliability applications
- Perform thermal analysis and electromagnetic compatibility testing
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with software teams on embedded firmware integration
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in power electronics and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for circuit simulation
- Experience with renewable energy integration projects
- Certification in P.E. (Professional Engineer) preferred
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI testing methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering hardware from concept to production
