Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for EV fast-charging stations and industrial power distribution
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing PCB layouts and embedded firmware for power management systems
- Perform thermal analysis and simulation using ANSYS and COMSOL software
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEC 61851, and IEEE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate new power conversion technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
- Certification in power systems engineering (PE license or equivalent)
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid-tied inverters
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
