In this role, you won't just be drawing schematics; you will be defining how our clients power the world. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge power electronics from concept to mass production, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and power distribution units.
- Conduct detailed circuit analysis, thermal simulations, and reliability testing to ensure product robustness.
- Oversee the entire PCB design lifecycle, from schematic capture to manufacturing layout.
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with relevant industry standards (UL, IEC, NEC) and safety regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the prototyping and testing phases.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical components seamlessly into larger systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a focus on Power Systems or Electronics.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably within the power electronics or industrial automation sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices, motor drives, and control theory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites and manufacturing facilities.
