Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems and components.
- Utilize CAD tools (Altium Designer, Eagle) to create detailed schematics and PCB layouts.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC, ISO).
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware with software systems.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electronic issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware design and PCB development.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (SPICE, LTSpice) and PCB design software.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and signal integrity.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and DFMEA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret/Top Secret) is a plus.
