Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution networks using AutoCAD and ETAP
- Lead PCB layout for industrial control systems using Altium Designer
- Develop embedded firmware for smart grid monitoring devices
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers on IEEE 1584 arc flash safety protocols
- Validate designs through FEA simulations and prototype testing
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies on NEC and UL compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power systems experience
- Expertise in three-phase power systems and harmonics analysis
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Certification in PMP or PE preferred
- Strong background in SCADA systems and HMI development
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Demonstrated project leadership in industrial automation
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards
