Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy projects
- Lead development of embedded control systems for smart grid applications
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype development and validation
- Research emerging electrical technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or renewable energy engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink, and PLC programming
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and NEC regulations
- Demonstrated experience with HVDC systems and power electronics
- Experience leading complex engineering projects from concept to deployment
