Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial buildings
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Conduct rigorous EMC/EMI testing and compliance validation
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Interface with vendors to source specialized components while managing budgets
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or industrial systems design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and IEEE 1584 arc-flash calculations
- Experience with embedded C firmware for microcontroller systems
- Proven track record of delivering complex electrical projects on schedule
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
